WHO WE ARE
Gadabout Stage Company creates professional, curriculum‑connected theatre designed to tour directly to elementary schools across Interior BC. We believe live arts programming is essential to how students develop empathy, navigate complex emotions, and build social and emotional skills.
Students across Interior BC have limited opportunities to experience professional live theatre. Gadabout Stage Company was founded to change that. We bring a full production to your gymnasium so that every student in your school can participate, no field trip required.
Think of it as a field trip… that comes to you.
WHY US?
Our founders have spent years developing programming across School District 22 that challenges young people to think, create, and connect with their communities. Voices of Vernon (2023) brought over 200 students together to explore racism and inclusivity through storytelling and creative expression. Reflections on Belonging (2024) used immersive art and personal narrative to explore privilege and identity. From mentorship to workshops to arts education, we build programming where young people are at the centre.
